James Tumbridge’s licensing dinner

I was delighted to host a dinner at the House of Lords with the kind assistance of a Lord Bethell who once ran Ministry of Sound!

It was an opportunity to gather together the Night Tzar for London, officers engaged in delivery of the licensing function of our bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as councillors and business owners to discuss the challenges the sector faces.

I was also pleased to use the occasion to thank my colleagues both elected and officers for the great work they do in delivery of our licensing function.  We have nearly 1000 licensed premises in the city of london, and it’s an important part of what makes us a great city.  I hope 2023 is a great year for all!
