Jobs Foundation

Today started with a wonderful meeting of business people that all want to increase jobs and grow the economy, thanks to Georgiana Bristol and the Jobs Foundation.  The meeting was led off with a frank and honest assessment by Alex Silvester the editor of City AM. Alex once said that “City AM allows me to tell the positive story of our capital.” Today the breakfast allowed him to talk of his optimism for the UK despite its many challenges. It’s very clear business faces many issues and we need honest discussion of the future, because business is essential for us all, not least in terms of the money it creates that via tax pays for our public services.  If we don’t get growth and expand the pot then improving services is rather hard! The Jobs Foundation is expanding the conversation about the force for good that is business and jobs, I look forward to more of these insightful conversations.
