At the Lord Mayors Banquet we heard from the Lord Mayor and the UK Prime Minister about Britain’s place in the world and the importance of Growth!
The Lord Mayor’s theme for the year ahead is Growth Unleashed. The aim is to boost the City and drive UK growth through a renewed spirit of ambition, innovative tech and our many communities connections globally.
Growth Unleashed is a commitment to be bolder, and to Reset Risk Appetite to ensure we are seizing opportunity.
There is to be a major focus on technology, as part of driving growth. I hope we realise that ambition, and learn how to take advantage of our uniqueness in what is a globally competitive space.
