Mansion House hosted the London Government dinner, where the mayors and leaders of London meet to discuss London’s needs.

We discussed transport, the economy and clean air.  Saddiq Khan the Mayor of Greater London said he was “pushing ahead with the most ambitious plans to tackle air pollution of any big city in the world”.

He highlighted the introduction of the ULEZ, which will come into effect in the current central London Congestion Charge Zone on 8 April 2019 and will replace the existing Toxicity Charge.

In addition the City of London is considering a private bill to parliament to tackle the issue of clean air.

All in all a very good evening to see how London at larege is looking ahead.
