It was a pleasure to spend time talking to Sir Eric Pickles about his role as the Government’s Anti-Corruption Champion, and how important it is not to take our elections for granted. It was a very informative talk, and a welcome chance to hear his views after more than 40 years of election experience. We have a Tower Ward By Election this month, and this talk is a welcome reminder of the importance of taking part in our elections, I hope we see a high turn out in Tower Ward this month.
