Ontario is open for business! So proclaimed the finance minister for the province Vic Fedeli who I had the pleasure to talk to tonight. The Ontario Government is in London promoting its Anglo-UK business relationships and the figures are significant: $15bn in UK-Ontario trade, 160 UK companies in Ontario, and a positive outlook on the future of our trading relations. Ontario is a great place for Anglo-UK tech investment, and I hope too that Ontario companies continue to look here for opportunities....70% of the Ontario economy is now services, it is 91% in London, the connection for our service sectors is strong and I hope it continues....
