I was delighted to play a small part today raising money for Support Our Paras. I post this because many people do not realise how important charity is to supporting service personnel and their families. The Crown simply doesn’t recognise or resource all that I suspect people think should be covered given the sacrifices military service entails, especially for families. So today we joined SUPPORT OUR PARAS at their fundraiser, the charity exists solely to support the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, looking after veterans, serving soldiers and families within their Airborne community. A great group of people came together to learn more about the charity and raise funds, in a wonderful atmosphere.
