As ever it was an honour today to join the Clothworkers who hosted the Community Awards for the Scots Guards. The Clothworkers are rightly proud of the affiliation with the Scots Guards, and their Colonel was kind in his thanks for the support given to service personal by the company. The financial support primarily assists with welfare activities for the service men and women, and their families, as well as grants for special projects. The event today provided an opportunity for wider recognition by the Company and those of us who work in the City, because we should never forget our safety and peace comes from the service of others. #community #scotsguards #clothworkers
