Following a recent review of micromobility parking (electric scooters and electric hire pedal cycles), the City are proposing to introduce additional parking bays in Tower Ward at:

  1. Cross Lane
  2. Haydon Street
  3. Jewry Street
  4. Muscovy Street
  5. Trinity Square
  6. Vine Street

 To accommodate the bay(s), it may involve relocating parking bays or other street features.

The proposal aims to;

  1. provide additional parking capacity for micromobility users at suitable locations;
  2. control where these vehicles should be parked, and;
  3. reduce the negative impacts (such as obstruction) caused by these vehicles being left in unsuitable locations.

For your information, the City will be consulting with local occupiers near or adjacent to these proposals in the next few days.
